Tabby Stoecker is a British skeleton racer whose athletic ability, determination and unusual route into elite sport have brought her growing public attention. She first developed her physical skills through gymnastics and circus performance before moving into skeleton, a high-speed winter sport in which athletes race head-first down an icy track. Her progress has included World Cup success, major championship medals and Olympic gold in the mixed team event at the 2026 Winter Games, alongside teammate Matt Weston. Away from the track, she has also attracted interest through television appearances, including Strictly Come Dancing. This profile explores her background, family, age, relationship status, sporting achievements, height information and social media presence, separating confirmed details from information that has not been made public.
Tabby Stoecker Parents
Public information about the athlete’s parents is limited. Some online biographies identify her mother as Alison Stoecker and mention a sister, Paloma, but detailed information about her family has not been widely confirmed through major public interviews.
Her family background has attracted interest as Tabby Stoecker’s sporting profile has grown. However, it is important to distinguish between details repeated by biography websites and information confirmed directly by the athlete or reliable reporting. She has generally kept her private family life away from the spotlight.
Tabby Stoecker Father
There is no substantial, consistently verified public information about her father. His name, occupation and personal background have not been clearly established in reliable public profiles.
Rather than repeat unconfirmed claims, it is more accurate to say that she has not made these details a prominent part of her public story. Her sporting achievements and transition into elite skeleton remain better documented than her family history.
Tabby Stoecker Ethnicity
Her ethnicity has not been clearly confirmed in reliable public sources. She is British and was born in London, but nationality and ethnicity are not the same thing. A person’s birthplace or citizenship should not be used to make assumptions about their ethnic background.
Unless she chooses to discuss this subject publicly, her ethnicity should be treated as private rather than guessed from photographs, her name or her nationality.
Tabby Stoecker Age
Born on 24 November 2000 in Highgate, London, she is 25 years old as of 8 November 2026. She will celebrate her 26th birthday later in November.
At 25, Tabby Stoecker has already reached the top level of an extremely demanding winter sport. Skeleton requires explosive strength, balance, precise steering and the ability to remain composed while travelling at high speed. Her progress from a gymnastics and circus background into international competition reflects years of physical preparation and technical development.
Tabby Stoecker Relationship
Interest in her personal life increased after her Olympic success and television appearances. Reports in 2026 have referred to her having a boyfriend, but his identity has not been reliably established in public reporting. She has not shared enough verified information to support claims about his name or occupation.
Matt Weston is her British skeleton teammate and mixed team Olympic gold medallist. Their close sporting partnership has prompted questions about whether they are romantically involved, but they are known professionally as teammates. There is no reliable confirmation that they are a couple.
There is also no public confirmation that she is married. For that reason, it is best to describe her relationship status cautiously: she has been reported to have a boyfriend, but she keeps his identity private.
Tabby Stoecker Skeleton
Tabby Stoecker’s route into skeleton was not conventional. Before entering the sport, she trained in gymnastics and circus arts. Her background included acrobatics, juggling, clowning and flying trapeze, activities that helped develop body awareness, coordination, strength and confidence.
She attended the National Centre for Circus Arts in London and had also competed in gymnastics. Her physical skills made her a strong candidate for the British Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association’s Discover Your Gold talent identification programme, which she joined in 2019. The initiative looks for athletes from other sports who have the potential to succeed in winter disciplines.
Her international skeleton debut came in December 2021. She progressed quickly, earning a World Cup victory at La Plagne in December 2023 during only her second World Cup start. That result marked her as an athlete to watch.
She later formed a successful mixed team partnership with Matt Weston. The pair won silver at the 2024 and 2025 World Championships before taking gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics in the inaugural mixed team skeleton event. Their Olympic victory came by 0.17 seconds over Germany. In the individual women’s competition, she finished fifth.
Her achievements also include European Championship silver in 2026 and bronze in the 2025–26 overall World Cup standings. These results show how quickly she has established herself among Britain’s leading skeleton athletes.
The sport involves descending a steep, twisting ice track head-first on a small sled. Competitors steer through subtle movements of their shoulders, knees and toes, while start speed and a clean racing line can make a major difference. Her gymnastics and circus training have provided useful foundations for the balance, control and body awareness required.
Tabby Stoecker Height
A reliable, officially confirmed height measurement is not readily available in major public profiles. Online figures can vary, so it would be misleading to present an unverified number as fact.
Height is only one part of skeleton performance. Start power, technique, strength, coordination and track knowledge all contribute to a competitive run. Her results demonstrate that success in the sport depends on a combination of physical qualities rather than one measurement.
Tabby Stoecker Instagram
She uses social media to share parts of her sporting journey, training and life beyond competition. Her Instagram profile is listed under the handle @tabbystoecker. Social media can offer fans a more personal view of an athlete, although it does not provide a complete picture of their private life.
Tabby Stoecker’s public profile has also expanded through television. In 2026, she joined the cast of Strictly Come Dancing, partnering professional dancer Mark Karmalita. The programme introduced her to viewers who may not have followed skeleton before her Olympic success. She has also been announced for the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour in 2027.
